Filming For Charities (FFC) uses film to address social issues and empower marginalized communities. They leverage the power of storytelling to raise awareness, inspire action, and create positive change in a visually-driven world.

What will you be doing?

Our charity-led organisation is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Community Manager to join our team working with the head of it. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and support a variety of charitable  programs aimed at providing valuable support  to charity and members of our community.

  1. Community Engagement: Ability to connect with diverse community members, understand their needs, and foster a sense of belonging and inclusion.
  2. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas, build relationships, and advocate for the needs of the community.
  3. Networking: Proficiency in building and maintaining relationships with local charities, businesses, government agencies, and community leaders to leverage resources and support.
  4. Organizational Skills: Capacity to manage multiple projects, events, and campaigns simultaneously while staying organized and meeting deadlines.
  5. Empathy and Compassion: Genuine empathy and compassion for individuals facing challenges within the community, coupled with a desire to make a positive difference in their lives.
  6. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify community issues and develop innovative solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
  7. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances, needs, and priorities within the community.
  8. Leadership: Capability to inspire and motivate others to get involved in community initiatives and take ownership of their roles in creating change.
