We are a relatively new organisation that is looking for dedicated trustees that will influence and support the direction of the organisation.
As a womens' organisation we will be delighted to have a female trustee in board who will be heavily involved in strategically supporting the organisation going forward. She will also help market the charity and help in keeping it financially viable with fundraising and grant funding ideas as well further our organisation's aim to empower women in all respects.
She will ideally have some experience in fundraising, grantfunding and be able to make sound grant proposals and assist in sourcing financial resources for the betterment of the organisation. She will also be able to represent our organisation to potential investors when the time arises.
She will also be involved in the professional maintenance of a favourable public image for the organization, maybe not solely but certainly assist in the process. A knowledge of campaigning and commissioning will be desirable but not necessarily essential
This is a vital role, helping ensure we can continue our support for women and girls, especially ones from disadvantaged sectors of the community ( migrants, LGBTQ, refugees, BAE community, vulnerable groups eg. domestic abuse victims, substance misuse rehabilitation, mental health, physical inactivity etc )
Our aim is to inspire, support, and empower women and girls around any issues that affect them.
As a trustee, you will have a real opportunity to offer your unique skill set to help the strategic progression of this community. Our works is currently based in the West Midlands and we endeavour to help women become the best version of themselves.
As a member of our board you will be heavily involved in supporting and shaping our work and strategic direction, as well as help us to achieve our purpose (s) -that of ensuring beneficiaries present as the best version f themselves for their benefit and that of their families and the whole community at large
