Join us to lead initiatives, secure funding, develop partnerships, and drive organisational growth. Use your expertise in grant applications, fundraising, and strategy to make a meaningful impact. Volunteer role.

What will you be doing?

Our nonprofit is at a pivotal moment. Currently, the organisation relies heavily on a single active director managing operations and driving growth. While our hub has expanded significantly, sustaining this growth and ensuring long-term success requires a stronger, more active leadership team.

To meet these challenges, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Strategic Growth and Fundraising to join our board. This role is crucial in helping us secure sustainable funding, develop key partnerships, and steer our strategic vision for the future.

As a board member, you will:

  • Collaborate with our team to shape the organisation's growth strategy.
  • Lead and implement innovative fundraising campaigns.
  • Drive efforts to secure grants and build lasting donor relationships.
  • Contribute to governance, ensuring the organisation’s sustainability and success.

We need someone with a proactive attitude, a passion for making a difference, and a proven track record in fundraising and organisational development. Your expertise will be instrumental in lightening the load and propelling our hub toward an even brighter future. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a passionate and skilled individual with:

  • Fundraising Expertise: A proven track record in designing and implementing successful fundraising strategies, including grant writing and donor engagement.
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to see the big picture, identify opportunities for growth, and develop plans to achieve sustainable impact.
  • Partnership Building: Experience in cultivating relationships with funders, sponsors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Organisational Development: Skills in governance, sustainability planning, and nonprofit leadership to help steer the organisation forward.
  • Team Collaboration: A proactive and collaborative approach, willing to work alongside the board and staff to achieve shared goals.
  • Commitment to Our Mission: A deep understanding of and passion for our work and the difference we make in our community.

This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, innovative, and eager to make a tangible impact on an organisation at a critical stage of its growth.

What difference will you make?

As part of our team, you will play a key role in shaping our strategic direction and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our organisation. Your efforts will directly support the continued growth of our hub, enabling us to expand and enhance our impact on the community we serve.

This is a vital role, helping us secure funding, build partnerships, and create opportunities for those who rely on our services. By joining us, you will have the chance to use your skills to drive meaningful change and help us achieve our mission.

Your contributions will be instrumental in transforming the organisation into a more robust and sustainable entity, ensuring we can continue to grow and make a difference for years to come.
