Make More are seeking a creative and passionate person to help formulate and execute a marketing strategy within the social media and local publications spectrums, showcasing the community work we are doing.

What will you be doing?

You'll work very closely with the Strategic Director, Director of Community Engagement and the Head of Writing & Research to drive our social and community impact via marketing methods. We're an organisation at the beginning of our journey, so you'll have some flexibility on the work you do and will help to shape it's direction, however the main responsibilities will include:

  1. Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing initiatives including social media campaigns, email marketing, website optimisation, and online advertising. Monitor and analyse campaign performance to optimise results and drive engagement.
  2. Content Creation: Lead the creation of compelling content across various mediums including blogs, videos, graphics, and social media posts. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop impactful storytelling that showcases the impact of Make More's work.
  3. Community Engagement: Develop and nurture relationships with community partners, influencers, and stakeholders to expand Make More's reach and maximise impact. Identify opportunities for collaboration and co-promotion to amplify our message.
  4. Metrics and Reporting: Track key performance indicators and marketing metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives. Generate regular reports and insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

What are we looking for?

Alongside a passion for working on community projects and initiatives, we're looking for someone who holds the following skills:

  • Advising and supporting the organisation on an ongoing basis, improving our marketing and communications.
  • Willingness to devote time, supporting strong community causes.
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels and tools, with experience in social media management.
  • Proficiency in conducting market research and audience analysis to inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and driving positive change.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences.

What difference will you make?

You will be a driving force for change. By aiding the marketing strategy, you'll directly contribute to raising awareness of the supportive services that Make More offer, helping to extend its reach to those who require it most. As a Marketing Lead, you will use strategic marketing leavers and your creative juices to drum-up engaging content. From social media posts to blogs, you'll be instrumental in helping to develop content that highlights the work we're doing.
