Stick ‘n’ Step is a small but ambitious charity. We aim to enable, inspire and support children with cerebral palsy and their families.

What will you be doing?

We have been on an exciting journey to reach and support more families and are looking to strengthen our Board to ensure the organisation has the expertise and knowledge to support the charity’s recent growth.

Trustees are required to attend 4 Board Meetings per year plus an annual Away Day. We have an in-depth induction process to support all new trustees in their role.

As for any small charity, Stick ‘n’ Step has its own unique set of challenges and opportunities. Trustees will be integral in assessing and mitigating the risks associated with addressing these challenges and opportunities to ensure the future of the organisation.

Trustees work closely with the Chief Executive and Senior Management within the charity.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for individuals who have a strong empathy with Stick ‘n’ Step’s mission and ethos. In particular we are looking for individuals who have experience, skills, and knowledge in digital marketing, digital communications and social media management.

As a basis, all Trustees need to have sound decision making, communication, and team working skills.

What difference will you make?

Trustees are vital to the longevity and sustainability of Stick 'n' Step. The charity provides vital support to over 100 children with cerebral palsy and this is an opportunity to make an important contribution to this life-changing service.

What's in it for the volunteer?

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting and positive difference to a growing organisation, alongside friendly, professional people.
