What will you be doing?

The successful candidate would be working directly with the Founder and Campaign Team to plan and deliver the digital marketing and social media campaign for the Prize campaigns and Awards. This role is remote and can be managed from home or any remote location. We are looking for an experienced and skilled professional who will enjoy devising the digital marketing and social media campaigns to provide a connected and compelling narrative for the Prize Awards. The ideal candidate should have a successful track record devising similar digital campaigns and the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. In particular the skills we are looking for include:

  • Exceptional and creative digital planning and design skills for marketing and social media
  • Excellent research skills to identify niche and target audiences
  • Ideation and creation of innovative campaign ideas to promote prizes and awards, campaign causes, stakeholder and public awareness, sponsorship interest and candidates and nominations.
  • Flair for how short documentary film and videography will enhance the marketing working with our creative team.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a professional who feels inspired by our Prize Challenges and motivated to make a great success. The ideal candidate would be an experienced digital professional with a proven track record ideally (but not essentially) with Challenge or Innovation Prizes who would enjoy working with a very new social enterprise. We can give the right candidate all the creative license and professional autonomy they require to create a dynamic digital marketing and social media campaign and to make their own mark too. The primary skills we are looking for in a candidate are as follows:

The creative inspiration and experience to create and deliver a digital marketing and social media campaign for the Challenge Prize competition and Prize Giving and Awards.

What difference will you make?

Your role will play an important part in the success of the Signature Nurse's Prize competition and to a large extent to the future of the Peace, CSR, Climate and Humanitarian Care Challenge Prizes as well. The Signature Nurse's Prize competition will be launched across just one region of the UK for the first year and rolled out from next year onwards as an annual Prize across all regions of the UK as part of the 5 to 10 year strategic plan. As part of the team will make a valuable contribution to that success on which to base the future campaigns for Peace, CSR, Climate and Humanitarian Care. You will also have played a key role in promoting one of our most important causes where the Signature Nurse's Prize highlights that unique quality of humanitarian care the ‘human touch’ that cannot be substituted by drugs or medication and which is why the Signature Nurse’s Prize is awarded to nurses "who have shown an exceptional quality of humanitarian and medical care in lifelong dedication above and beyond the call of duty in both a professional and personal capacity.

What's in it for the volunteer?

This role will appeal to candidates who like a challenge, who identify strongly with causes addressing Humanitarian Care, Peace, CSR and Climate and who want to play an active and digital role in major change. We are a new and exciting social enterprise that provides the candidate with plenty of creative license and the professional autonomy to create a digital marketing and social media campaign and to make their own mark too.  We are a CIC that promotes a strong work ethic and a culture of respect and equality that inspires, motivates and values everyone of our professional colleagues as valued members of our Prize Challenge team.
