Are you driven by the idea that digital marketing can spark real-world change? Do you want to help a not-for-profit bank make its mark on Central Southern England, boosting community savings, loans, and grassroots initiatives?

What will you be doing?

We’re a local, ethical, not-for-profit bank based in Fareham. Since 2001, we've been committed to reinvesting profits back into our communities, supporting and fostering financial inclusion, and strengthening the regional economy. Your creativity and digital know-how will set the tone for bringing not-for-profit banking to everyday people. You'll be instrumental in bringing a niche, relatively unknown sector to the forefront of people's minds. You’ll spend time making sure our website and its pages are optimised fully and we’re getting the right message out to the right people, through the right media channels. You’ll help us refine our digital presence from great website SEO to promoting our blogs and social media, and Google advertising campaigns.

What are we looking for?

You don't need to know about banking or finance, you just need some of the following:

  • Proficiency with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and best practices
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles (keyword research, on-page optimisation)
  • Experience with digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console)
  • Strong content-creation abilities
  • Data-driven mindset: ability to interpret engagement metrics and refine strategies
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for minor website updates
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinking and a keen eye for visual design
  • Passion for community development, ethical finance, and grassroots projects
  • Enthusiasm for brainstorming fresh ideas and experimenting with new digital trends

What difference will you make?

Imagine creating the first chapter of our digital story, crafting a social media identity from scratch and using SEO strategies to ensure people searching for ethical banking in our region actually find us. Picture yourself helping us promote social media campaigns that highlight real-life success stories, promoting our community grants through our foundation or getting great blog content out that highlights good money management and empowers people to save and budget. Your efforts won’t simply drive clicks, they’ll help spread awareness of a banking model that prioritises community, financial education and financial inclusion over profit. It's a bit different to your normal bank. As you build engaging content, optimise our website, and nurture online conversations, you’ll bring not-for-profit banking into everyday conversations, encouraging local individuals and businesses to choose a bank that gives back.
