Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of spaniels in need? Do you have the skills and experience to help raise vital funds for a relatively new and exciting charity? If so, we would love to hear from you!

What will you be doing?

This role will oversee the team of digital fundraisers, coordinating activity and providing support and guidance to them when required

Specific responsibilities:

  • Support and lead a team of digital fundraising volunteers
  • Raise income through multiple digital-based opportunities
  • Support the team to develop imaginative and creative on-line fundraising activities
  • Liaise with the wider organisational team to develop and maintain a fundraising calendar
  • Maintain a list of community donors and fundraisers
  • Attend team meetings

It is important to the trustees that all volunteers are supported and cared for while they volunteer for us. We therefore ensure that all volunteers are:

  • Given generic induction and ongoing training tailored to their role
  • Able to control their hours to ensure volunteering fits in with other life priorities
  • Supported every step of the way by fellow team members and our dedicated wellbeing team
  • Invited to regular volunteer team meetings both online and in person
  • Given the opportunity to become a voting member of the charity
  • An integral part of the charity and their voice and experience matters

So if you’ve got some time on your hands and think your experience could bring some magic to our team, we’d love to have you with us.

Let’s make a difference together!

What are we looking for?

The most important quality for this role is a love of dogs, especially spaniels!

This is a critical role within the charity and we therefore are looking for someone who has experience of digital fundraising, especially:

  • Fundraising across a range of channels, especially digital forums
  • On-line event management
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team

What difference will you make?

This is a critical role in the delivery of funds to enable the charity to function. There is so much opportunity to tap into an on-line audience and this role will need to have the confidence and experience to enable us to do this effectively. Regular income is required to cover predominantly the cost of vet fees, but also other costs associated with a rescue charity.
