We’re seeking a marketing or communications professional to help us raise our profile through improved material on our website, and through digital publications and social media

What will you be doing?

Designing our Annual Report (due Nov/Dec) and our new Strategy 2030. We want to produce attractive and accessible digital publications, and other assets such as a short summary and snippets that we can use to promote the reports on our website and through social media.

If you also have the skills, time and interest, we also are looking for: help to promote the work of our amazing movements e.g. editing and promoting video and other content from our movements to promote their work on social media, and showcasing on our website; helping us develop our marketing strategy including developing our audiences, and our use of analytics

What are we looking for?

We're looking for professionals who will take a collaborative approach to helping us develop a compelling visual style for our reports and other products which express our values and purpose.

We’re hoping to hear from people who are experienced in any of the following areas, as these are different projects that could be delivered by specialists in a specific area of work.

Get in touch if you’re a natural in terms of :

  • Website content development - we use Wix
  • Publishing design - we use CANVA
  • Video editing for social media

What difference will you make?

We’re a new and very small charity (currently a team of 3); so far we have attracted 100 campaign groups into our ‘movement of movements’ and are on track to have transferred £2m in funding by the time we hit our 3rd birthday in spring 2025.

We need additional capacity to improve our digital strategies and online presence, so the help of an experienced professional will move our work up a notch. We’re always seeking more relationships - primarily with new campaign groups and movements who will benefit from our help, but also with the donors and grantmakers interested in supporting them

Before you apply

Interviews will be an informal Zoom chat with the CEO.

The volunteer will need to be ready to officially start the role from 25th October.
