Do you have a background in copywriting? Are you looking for a role that combines your interest in writing for our blog, with your strong understanding of digital art and new media artists?
Agora is building an Editorial Team to create a flow of compelling stories and articles about new media artists, art and tech.
Your articles will be reviewed by the Chief Editor.
It's mainly short forms of about 600 to max 1,500 words. One article per month. You can pick your topic from the editorial calendar. Suggestions are welcome but it needs to be related to art and tech.
You will need to write in the "persuasive" writing because we need to prove that Digital Art is art and that women artists using Digital Arts have an interesting perspective on the world we live in.
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, with an interest in the arts and the ability to think creatively. They will be highly reliable on submission dates. You are self-motivated and can also work in a team on the editorial calendar.
If you are not digital art savvy, I am expecting you to level up to a standard basic knowledge of the new media category, within 6 months. There is a lot to learn and a lot of space for personal development.
Because you’re excited by the challenge! The exact opposite of corporate, we’re progressive, daring and creative individuals working to make a difference in unconventional workplaces.
With the Covid-19 crisis, a lot of people are available. Even if any support is welcome, I am looking for a mid-term commitment of min. 3 months.
You are self-motivated and can also work in a team. You will work in a pool of 20+ copywriters and your copy will be reviewed by the Chief Editors.
Agora actively promotes contemporary digital women artists. The more we inform and educate the general public, the more we contribute to increasing the visibility of those great women artists.
