We are looking for an expert to assist in designing and implementing Data Protection Policies, ensuring legal compliance and best practices, while supporting projects within the Community Health Center (CHC), including CFK and FAS initiatives.

What will you be doing?

As a Data Protection & GDPR Support Officer, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Support projects and service delivery teams to ensure that data protection is designed and implemented in all information processes and systems. 

• Regularly review the Privacy Policies to make sure that they are up-to-date. 

• Maintaining records of data processing activities and ensuring documentation aligns with legal requirements. Collaborating with HR, IT, Legal, Data/Research and other relevant teams to implement and maintain effective data protection measures. 

• Assist with implementing and managing a Data Protection/Privacy Programme.

Collaboration 

- Working collaboratively with other key people across the project, as well as external partners as required 

- Attending and making positive contributions in internal CFK Meetings, including the monthly CFK Club Meeting, The Welcome Meeting, Team Meetings and other meetings as required.

What are we looking for?

  • Knowledge and experience working in a data protection / privacy role. 
  • Qualifications / certification for Data Protection Act, GDPR or Privacy.  
  • Comfortable being the primary point of contact for data protection reviews for our service delivery teams. 
  • Previous experience of working for Charities and/or volunteer organisations is desirable but not required.

The impact you will have in this role is huge and extremely important. As an expert in your field, you will be responsible for ensuring legal compliance and adherence to best practices. Your role will involve coordinating with the Data Protection lead on privacy matters and issues, collaborating closely with all CHC Teams.
