You will play a crucial role in assessing the effectiveness of CFK interventions and the achievement of our project goals by analysing, interpreting and presenting data from a variety of different sources.

What will you be doing?

As a Data Analyst, your responsibilities in this voluntary role include, but are not limited to:

 

- Gathering, understanding, and documenting data requirements using a variety of techniques and tools

- Collecting, cleaning, organising, analysing and interpreting data from various sources (e.g. questionnaires/surveys), from both internal and external sources using different analytic tools

- Responding to data-related queries and keeping track of these

- Creating data dashboards, graphs, charts, tables, reports and visualisations using different tools, communicating results and trends within data to non-specialists

- Setting up processes and systems to make working with data more efficient

- Complying with data protection, privacy and confidentiality legislation, as well as The CHC policies & procedures, championing, promoting and ensuring best practice in these areas within the project

- Monitoring and auditing data quality

 

What are we looking for?

· Degree, related degree, or experience in Data Analytics.

· Prior experience in a similar role (paid or voluntary).

· Excellent knowledge of SQL required with Excel, VBA, or similar (e.g., Python, R or other programming experience)

· Experience with visualization tools including: PowerBI or equivalent.

· Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to collaborate with and build trusted relationships with stakeholders

· A passion for data and the power of data

· Enthusiasm for the role, and a willingness to share knowledge and best practices across the wider data team across the Group.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team Analytical and detail orientated.

· Excellent time management, and ability to meet deadlines.

· Previous experience of working for Charities and/or volunteer organisations is desirable but not required.

· Articulate written, visual and verbal communicator, excellent copy accuracy and proofreading skills; fluency in English is essential.
