We are seeking a skilled and vigilant Cybersecurity Volunteer to help safeguard our charity’s digital infrastructure and ensure the protection of sensitive data.

What will you be doing?

  • Assess the current security posture of our digital systems and identify vulnerabilities.
  • Implement security measures to protect against cyber threats, including malware, phishing, and data breaches.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts promptly.
  • Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular security audits and penetration tests to ensure ongoing protection.
  • Provide training and awareness programs for staff and volunteers on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to keep our systems secure.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a volunteer with experience in:

  • Cybersecurity, information security, or a related field.
  • Identifying and mitigating security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Implementing and managing security tools and protocols.
  • Conducting security audits, penetration testing, and incident response.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of current cybersecurity threats and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical staff.
