We are seeking a skilled and vigilant Cybersecurity Volunteer to help safeguard our charity’s digital infrastructure and ensure the protection of sensitive data.

What will you be doing?

Assess the current security posture of our digital systems and identify vulnerabilities.
Implement security measures to protect against cyber threats, including malware, phishing, and data breaches.
Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts promptly.
Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Conduct regular security audits and penetration tests to ensure ongoing protection.
Provide training and awareness programs for staff and volunteers on cybersecurity best practices.
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to keep our systems secure.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a volunteer with experience in:

Cybersecurity, information security, or a related field.
Identifying and mitigating security risks and vulnerabilities.
Implementing and managing security tools and protocols.
Conducting security audits, penetration testing, and incident response.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of current cybersecurity threats and best practices.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical staff.
