To apply for this role, and any other on our platform, you need to be based in the UK, have at least three years of experience using the skills you wish to volunteer in a professional capacity or have lived experience (for trustee roles). Read more about our criteria.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual who understands the social enterprise sector with proven experience of successful income generation from fundraising, grants and corporate sponsorships.

What will you be doing?

  • Increasing fundraising revenue to expand our reach and impact.
  • Ensuring accurate records are maintained of corporate fundraising opportunities and progress in targeting them.
  • Developing strategic partnerships with individuals, businesses, and other organisations.
  • Hosting successful awareness and fundraising events.
  • Negotiating and building partnerships with potential donors and organisations.
  • Creating and managing initiatives to raise money, such as gofundme and other donation sites.
  • Researching and contacting potential donors and maintaining donor relations.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong proposal writing skills.
  • Experience working with corporates or high value clients.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Affiliation with our values, mission and human rights goals.

Your input, skills and expertise will help The Strongtower foundation reach more people and raise awareness to the very serious problems which are human trafficking and modern slavery in order to be able to help those who have been victims of these crimes to restore their sense of community and livelihood.
