Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

We’re looking for skilled, self-starting volunteer copywriters to help us craft compelling content that amplifies our message and connects with our community

What will you be doing?

We’re looking for creative, purpose-driven volunteer copywriters to help us bring our voice to life across platforms. You’ll support us in crafting compelling content for our website, blog, social media, email newsletters, programme guides, and volunteer recruitment materials.

 

Key deliverable:Clear, engaging, and impactful written content that inspires action, improves accessibility, and communicates the value of our work to learners, partners, and supporters.

You'll be writing for a range of audiences including:

  • Women re-entering the workforce
  • Young people not in education or employment
  • Community members with little or no tech confidence
  • Partners, funders, and potential collaborators

Your content will appear across our:

  • Website
  • Email newsletters
  • Social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
  • Programme handbooks & resources
  • Volunteer recruitment materials

 

Who you'll work with:You’ll work directly with the founder and marketing team. We’ll share campaign goals and tone of voice but we’re looking for someone who can independently develop content ideas, write with empathy, and bring the message to life.

 

Is this set in stone?Not at all. Whether your strengths are in storytelling, digital content, blog writing, or copyediting we’ll shape the role to suit your expertise and what excites you most.

 

 

 

What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years’ experience in copywriting, digital content, or comms
  • Strong SEO writing skills and an intuitive understanding of audiences
  • Able to generate, plan, and implement content ideas independently
  • Skilled in WordPress or similar CMS platforms
  • Exceptional written communication and editorial judgment
  • A self-starter who works well with minimal oversight
  • Passionate about making a difference through storytelling and accessible language
