The CA provides technical advice in the area of operations, as well as leading the consistent effort to support delivery of services and ongoing analysis and readjustment of the operations taking into account emerging needs and changes.
The Fédération Internationale de la Jeunesse in English International Youth Federation (IYF), is an international non-profit youth organization network governed by the present Statutes and the Swiss Civil Code. It is politically neutral, and non-denominational, aiming to empower youth worldwide.
The IYF Headquarters Coordination Division (IYFHCD) Team is responsible for providing strategic leadership, guidance and support to the IYF Regional Administrations (RAs) and to the IYF Country Teams (IYFCTs) led by the IYF Representatives (IYFRs) on the implementation of IYF’s strategic priorities and in meeting their responsibilities under the IYF vision and mission.
HCD provide additional professional capacity for strengthening the support of Regional Teams, the Representatives and IYFCTs.
Under the overall guidance of the Senior Coordination Specialist, the Coordination Analyst (Operations) promotes a collaborative, client-focused, quality and results-oriented approach to operational support. She/he provides technical advice in the area of operations, as well as leading the consistent effort to support delivery of services and ongoing analysis and readjustment of the operations taking into account emerging needs and changes in the IYF.
Responsibilities
• Provide professional expertise and technical support to the IYF headquarters on operational issues.
• Participate in review meetings and provide technical support to the assessment of the managerial and operational capacities of central and regional units in collaboration with the IYF management team.
• Guide and implement business process mapping and the establishment of internal standard operating procedures in all areas of the operational functions.
• Coordinate and facilitate new operations processes and liaise with the HQ and Digital Service Team as necessary.
• Assist in formalizing new operations policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and update the relevant sections of the operations policies and procedures following consultations with relevant units.
• Liaises with Executive Office, BOM and other relevant HQ units on addressing emerging operations issues.
• Provide recommendations to the preparation of operations plans.
Experience
Experience and results preferred at national level preferred in an operations role, management, international relations, advocacy, development, youth issues, sport, women empowerment, youth-led organizations or another relevant field.
To voluntarily represent, positively promote, and uphold the mission of “Empowering youth for a better world” in various programs and opportunities throughout the IYF interventions across member countries.
