Our organisation plays a key role in improving outcomes for homeless dogs & dogs living in poverty. We are looking for someone with a passion for animals & the skills needed to engage our supporters through various platforms. 

What will you be doing?

  • Create content for our members magazine which reflects our efforts, is topical & engaging. We supply the brief for articles.
  • Proof read existing material before publication, looking for typos & mistakes with grammer.
  • Create press releases following events & other activities from a brief supplied by directors.
  • Write content for our newsletters which is engaging & clear calls to action where relevant.
  • Case studies which need to be constructed in an informal story telling manner.

What are we looking for?

  •  Strong writing & editing skills
  • Ability to understand the aims of our organisation
  • Able to give & receive feedback
  • An understanding of the financial constraints of a CIC
  • Ability to work to deadline
  • Must like dogs
  • Experience in marketing 

What difference will you make?

Written communication is vital in maintaining & growing our donor base. Our magazine is available free of charge to members & something they enjoy reading. Newsletters are key in keeping supporters interested in what we are trying to achieve. Social media plays a huge role in the success of our social enterprise. In order to meet our core targets we need to grow & communication plays a major role in this.

Our CIC makes a tangible difference to countless animals around the world. Your input will allow us to grow & make the biggest impact we can.
