Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

To apply for this role, and any other on our platform, you need to be based in the UK, have at least three years of experience using the skills you wish to volunteer in a professional capacity or have lived experience (for trustee roles). Read more about our criteria.

We are seeking a passionate and creative Content Creation Volunteer to join our team to help develop engaging content graphics that promotes our mission to families and supporters and enhances our brand messaging.

What will you be doing?

  • Content Development: Support in creating compelling content for our three-year strategy, including social media, blogs, newsletters, and our website.
  • Graphic Design: Design visuals, infographics, and other multimedia content to support our campaigns and initiatives.
  • Storytelling: Collaborate with our Family Support and Marketing teams to gather and share impactful stories and testimonials.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist the Marketing team where required with general administrative duties as needed, including CRM Management, data entry, marketing scheduling, fundraising platform admin and support

  • Creativity: Strong creative skills and the ability to learn about developing engaging content.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software) and social media platforms.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Passion: A genuine interest in Tree of Hope’s mission.

  • Creativity: Ability to generate fresh and innovative ideas for telling the charity’s story through different content formats such as articles, videos, social media posts, and graphics.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality in content creation.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work with people at all levels across marketing and fundraising and CEO
  • Time Management and Organization: Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple content projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Resilience and Patience: Content creation in the charity sector can sometimes be challenging, with tight budgets, urgent needs, or sensitive subjects.
  • Social Media Savvy: Familiarity with various social media platforms and an understanding of how to create content that resonates with different audiences across those platforms.
