Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

To apply for this role, and any other on our platform, you need to be based in the UK, have at least three years of experience using the skills you wish to volunteer in a professional capacity or have lived experience (for trustee roles). Read more about our criteria.

To assist in delivering learning workshops to community groups, for example, young people with learning disabilities  

What will you be doing?

  • Learn 3 different workshops for delivery 
  • Workshops have already been created and follow this format: introduction, a few facts about one of the themes in the gallery, quiz, break, creative response 
  • Up to 10 workshops to be delivered per year in term time on Wednesdays or Friday afternoons 
  • Manage relationship between outreach groups and SIME gallery and liaise for booking workshop dates 
  • We are looking for 2-3 volunteers to share this role 

What are we looking for?

Experience of any of the following. Working with young people, people with learning disabilities or experience in a social services or teaching background.

What difference will you make?

You will be enriching the outreach opportunities for both the gallery and the community participants. Current groups that use us value the creative time at the gallery and getting to know about an orgnaisation local and welcoming to them.
