Help us to grow A Good Thing in your local area! Come on board as a local champion. Help us to get more businesses and charities to sign up to send less to landfill and more to a good cause.

What will you be doing?

A Good Thing is rolling out across the UK and is in need of a few brilliant local champions to help it to grow.

You'll be using your connections (friends, family, colleagues, neighbours...), as well as your insights into the local area, to help us to build the numbers of businesses and charities signing up in your part of the UK. You might do this through door-knocking (popping into shops and local businesses in person) or through brilliant online networking (using social media platforms, for example).

This will be a home-based role, and you'll be able to set your own schedule. It's a very flexible opportunity, and a great chance to grow with us as we continue on our journey. We would love someone with energy and enthusiasm to join us, and then shape their part in our project.

What are we looking for?

We'd love to find someone with lots of energy, and a real enthusiasm for sustainability. Also someone who's passionate about helping their local community. Someone who really knows the place where they live, and has some great connections there. Social media experience and digital marketing skills would also be an advantage, if they'd like to help to promote us that way.

What difference will you make?

Anyone who volunteers with us will be contributing to our greater goal of creating a more sustainable world, where fewer items are sent to landfill. We're working to build a circular economy in which businesses have something to donate, and local charities can benefit and grow as a result.

What's in it for the volunteer?

We're a new and tiny team. We are full of enthusiasm for this project and so excited to have got it off the ground. This is a great opportunity to really get your teeth into something, and to have ownership of a project. And it is super flexible - the hours can be put in as and when it suits you.
