We are looking for someone to support to help us promote and raise awareness of our work and impact, by creating engaging content on various social media platforms as well supporting e-mail and digital marketing planning.

We are looking for someone who can support us in developing our online presence through various social media channels and e-mail marketing. We are loking for someone who can create engaging content for our different audiences and help develop trending conent ideas.

Our audience is three-fold: people that use our services, support staff and family  members, professionals, businesses and funders and expereince in providing content to a range of audiences would be advantageous

We are in the process of updating our brand and need support in developing compelling and visually appealing graphics, text posts, stories, reels, and video content to be shared on digital platforms.

You will support with:

- Managing and maintain our social media accounts by regularly posting content, responding to comments and messages, and engaging with followers.

- Maintain a consistent brand identity ensuring that our vision and impact of our services is effectively communicated to our audiences.

- Stay up-to-date with social media trends to ensure our content remains fresh, relevant, and impactful as well as monitoring the success of any content to also create evergreen content

- Support with the planning and delivery of social media campaigns

- Contribute to an overall marketing strategy

This role can be remote or in person in the UK. We are based in Accrington in East Lancashire but run events across Lancashire, as well as in Manchester and Kendal. We are a small team and so looking for someone who is a self starter and can use their own inititative. Someone willing to bring their own ideas and not be afraid to share those.

What are we looking for?

You should be friendly and fun and use your own initiaitve whilst bringing your own ideas to promote our organisation. You should be organised and have skills in using social media in a professional capacity. You will be able to work independently and within a team. You can carry out this role from home or come into the office, we are very flexible for the right person.

You will have experience of using design applications, and specifically canva  as this is the platform we use for creating our marketing materials.

You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with a  high standard of written English

Experience in posting on and using social media platforms (we have Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and more recently LinkedIn).

Have a basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting and be able to explain this in simple terms!

An ability to develop creative and compelling content.

You will be mainly supporting our Events & Marketing Manager by supporting our digital presence and allowing them to get on with the day-to-day work of setting up and running new events which support our frienship and dating agency.
