What will you be doing?

We are looking for a passionate and creative to join our team as a Communication and Marketing Volunteer. In this role, you will support our goals to amplify our message, engage our audience, and promote our initiatives. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement communication and marketing strategies highlighting our programmes, successes, and impact on the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation:
    • Develop engaging content for our website, blog, social media, newsletters, and other communication channels.
    • Assist in creating multimedia content, including videos, graphics, and photographs, to promote our initiatives.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Manage and grow our social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
    • Schedule and post regular updates, monitor engagement, and respond to comments and messages.
  • Marketing Campaigns:
    • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns to promote our events, programmes, and initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the team to develop and distribute promotional materials, such as flyers.
  • Community Engagement:
    • Help organise and promote community events, workshops, and activities.
    • Engage with youth participants and community members to gather testimonials and success stories.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong passion for youth engagement and creative initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Experience with graphic design, video editing, and multimedia content creation is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new challenges
