What will you be doing?

We’re looking to recruit knowledgeable and passionate individuals to join our Health & Care Quality Committee to support the board in fulfilling it’s oversight responsibilities. The Health & Care Quality Committee (HCQC) ensures that the charity as a whole has robust systems and processes in place, and is providing high standards of health and care for its service users. They also contribute to key stakeholder accountability. HCQC currently consists of 5 members from various professional backgrounds within health and care. HCQC, along with the Trustee Board and other committees plays a vital role in achieving our mission, ensuring the charity makes the best use of its resources to meet itsvision and purpose.

What are we looking for?

We are particularly keen to hear from individuals with the following:

  • Clinical background, ideally with recent medical or nursing experience
  • Experience at senior level within an organisation
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to corporate governance principles
  • Sound judgement and the ability to provide independent, objective advice
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Suitability to work with children, young people & vulnerable adults
  • Similar values and ethos with the ability to keep our mission at the heart of all that we do

What difference will you make?

As a Committee Member your expertise, skills and life experience will help to further strengthen our governance structure in order to fulfil our mission.

Before you apply

If you would like to apply, please send your CV and a supporting statement to us via the Reach platform.
