Our mission is to create a nurturing home for vulnerable young people. To achieve this, we are seeking dedicated volunteers to assist in developing and establishing essential policies, standards, costing, feasibility, and staffing requirements
Role Overview: As a Children's Home Project Member volunteer, you will play a pivotal role in the initial phases of our project. The Volunteer Children's Home Project Member should bring a diverse skill set to contribute effectively.
Key skills include policy development aligned with Ofsted standards, research for regulatory compliance, financial acumen for budgeting and costing, strong communication for collaboration, teamwork proficiency, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail in policy development, an understanding of residential care challenges, knowledge or willingness to learn about human resources, alignment with the school's mission and values, empathy towards the needs of young people, and basic project management skills.
