Raising Youth CIO is looking for 5 individuals to join us as Charity Trustees to help shape our charity as we move in to an exciting time.
Raising Youth CIO is a small charity based in Medway and Swale providing a range of services to children young people and their families with the aim of giving them the tools they need to thrive and achieve their full potential. We would like to hear from anyone with qualifications and/or a professional background in any of the following areas:
We are seeking individuals with these skills but welcome applications from others. We also welcome applications from people with lived experience such as young people aged 16 and over and parents. Your lived experience will be valuable to us in identifying what our communities need and ensuring that services are fit for purpose.
We have a vacant Chair of Trustees position that could be filled by a candidate if elected as trustee.
You must be 16 or over to apply for this role.
We need individuals who are passionate about supporting disadvantaged children, young people and families to thrive. You must be confident to represent your views and speak up when needed. You must be able to work effectively as part of a team and be able to work on your own; using your initiative where appropriate. You must be able to make fair and balanced decisions; with the ability to weight the benefits and risks. You must have an understanding of the role of a trustee; you'll receive an in-depth induction.

All spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands or warnings that would not be filtered in accordance with current guidance must be declared.
As a trustee, you will help shape our charity and help us deliver vital services to children, young people and their families in Medway and Swale. Your skills, knowledge and experience will help ensure we deliver the best possible service to our beneficiaries.
