We have a vacancy for either an experienced or willing to learn Company Secretary to help navigate us through exiting times as we change from a registered charity to a CIO. we have a mixed background Board of Trustees ensuring the charity can achieve the best results we can. Our website is www.rhl.org.uk which will tell you all about the exciting work we do. we have won 2 national awards (for our cancer Champions project) and an EU award for "Innovation in Ageing" which was presented to us in Brussels. We are financially sound and ambitious and specialise in working with hard to reach groups and removing social and health innovations in our communities. Although based in Aldershot in hampshire, most Board meetings are on Zoom or Teams as our Trustees live in several locations.

What are we looking for?

Preferably an experienced Company secretary who is aware and understands the needs of a charity and organisations such as the Charity Commission and Companies House. The Board have passed a motion to convert from a registered charity to a CIO. Any experience of this process would be warmly welcome. What difference will you make?

An RHL Trustee and Secretary will help oversea the governance of the charity enabling it to be best placed to deliver our innovative and ground-breaking projects. Our Board are very active and help develop strategies to grow the charity as well as providing clear and concise governance. Trustees work closely with the CEO and are encouraged to take part in activities. we have a tried and tested induction system that can involved an "alternative" tour of our main geographic area ie the CEO will show you where and why real need for help is and show you what a difference we are making.

We believe in meaningful outcomes for our service users and this can only be achieved by behavioural change by service users and health professionals alike.
