We're three years old and have grown fast. We need someone to help us manage this
We started in 2022 and became successful very quickly. We're still a grass roots organisation but have added significant expertise at board level. The team that delivers our work (some of whom are also trustees) want to maintain the culture we've created and we are challenged with evolving that culture as we continue to grow and attract more attention from funders, council, influencers, etc. We want to be "professional with a light touch" but are not sure how that will be shaped as we move forward, keeping the original volunteers enthusiastic and commitment as we become more structured.
Ideally an interest in architecture, planning, community engagement, education and York. Skilled in change management. Diplomatic with an ability to nurture, support and guide trustees to develop the charity in a way that ensures all those involved remain passionate and committed.
They will significantly help a small organisation dealing with considerable success in a very short space of time manage this growth in a way that brings all volunteers (trustees and those that deliver our successful project) along the journey.
First stage would be an informal face to face chat in York.
