Chair - With an increased demand in registrations to access our services and fundraising challenges due to the economic climate and resources, we are seeking a chairperson to work with our CEO to support the growth and strategic direction of the charity.
Lived experience - With an increased demand in registrations to access our services, we are seeking a board member with lived bereavement experience who can aid us in setting up and supporting a steering group of beneficiaries, to help support the direction of our strategy.
Successful candidates will need to show leadership and teamwork; to work effectively together with the ability to foster credibility through both personality and experience. Knowledge and understanding of good governance and some financial acumen. Good stakeholder management skills with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). We need trustees who can show commitment to the organisation with a willingness to devote the necessary time and effort to their duties as a Trustee and adhere to the Trustee Code of Conduct. Experience of working within a charitable organisation or of fundraising and attracting sponsorship is also of interest
