The Lunch Club is a local charity providing nutritious meals and social interaction for vulnerable people. We are seeking a passionate and strategic Chair of Trustees to help guide our growth, strengthen governance, and support our mission.

What will you be doing?

The Chair of Trustees will provide strategic leadership, ensuring strong governance and supporting the charity’s growth and impact. They will work closely with the Board of Trustees and the CEO to shape the charity’s vision and ensure it delivers its mission effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the Board, ensuring effective governance and oversight.
  • Support and challenge the CEO and team to achieve the charity’s objectives.
  • Ensure the Board operates effectively, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Represent The Lunch Club externally, building partnerships and advocacy opportunities.
  • Oversee risk management, and compliance.
  • Lead on future trustee recruitment and development to ensure a strong, diverse Board.
  • Organise and lead all Trustee meetings.
