Dorset Community Action is recruiting a new Chair of Trustees.
Become part of a dynamic and well-respected charity championing the voluntary sector in Dorset.
Key responsibilities
While a commitment to attend Board & Committee meetings around ten times per year is important, so too is a willingness to get to know, and provide guidance and support for the operational team. The time commitment is likely to be around ½ day per week. Quarterly Board meetings are held in our Wimborne centre, but others are normally held on-line.
In return, we can offer you the opportunity to work with a passionate and committed staff team, who are supporting disadvantaged residents and community organisations across Dorset to realise their aspirations.
