Lord Crewe's Charity is a modern, forward-thinking and relevant charity seeking to address contemporary needs in an impactful way whilst mindful of its rich 300-year history.
The Chair of Trustees is responsible for leading the development of clear strategies for the Charity and ensuring they are heeded in decision making; creating the environment for a high performing cohesive Board, ensuring that all voices are equally heard and collaborative decisions made; and ensuring that the purpose and values of the Charity are reflected in its Grants Policy as well as the Investment Policy Statement and the management of the property portfolio. The Charity is accustomed to its Trustees using humour, humility, commitment, clarity, intelligence, confidence, focus and calm and working in ways that are empowering, friendly, reflect the 'big picture', conflict defusing, collaborative, reflective and flexible.
