Are you ready to play your part in shaping the future of the UK’s leading organisation for teenage musicians? The National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain (NYO) is seeking a strategic and passionate finance leader to join our Board of Trustees as the Chair of the Finance Committee.
NYO is the UK’s foremost organisation dedicated to using orchestral music as a powerful catalyst for teenage development. Each year, we engage thousands of teenagers, empowering them to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and positively impact their peers. With a strong financial foundation and ambitious growth plans, NYO is at an exciting juncture. As Chair of the Finance Committee, you will play a pivotal role in guiding NYO’s financial strategy and ensuring the charity’s sustainability and growth. Your responsibilities will include providing high-level guidance on financial and resource planning, overseeing risk management, and ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations. You will work collaboratively with the wider Board to keep them informed of financial matters at an appropriate level of detail, contributing to the charity’s overall governance and strategic direction.
