Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

The Chair will provide strategic leadership to the board, ensuring effective governance and guiding the organisation towards fulfilling its charitable mission.

What will you be doing?

Our organisation is undergoing an exciting transformation as we have recently become a registered charity. In this critical phase of our journey, we seek passionate and committed individuals to join our board of trustees and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation. As we build a new board, we have specific challenges and goals that the incoming trustees, especially the Chair, will be instrumental in addressing.

Our current challenges and goals are:

  1. As we convert to a charity, one of our primary challenges is establishing robust and effective charitable governance structures. This includes ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, clearly defining our mission and objectives, and setting strategic goals to guide our organisation's growth.
  2. We aim to create a diverse and inclusive board representing various experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives.
  3. To maximise our positive influence, we seek to enhance our outreach efforts and expand our impact on the lives of those we serve.
