Burgh House in Hampstead, London is seeking to appoint a new Chair of the Burgh House CIO, following the departure after nine years of service from Sir Nigel Carrington. We also seek to appoint two new Trustees following the appointment of Chair.
Burgh House is led by the Board of Trustees. The Board is responsible for the strategic leadership of the charity and for ensuring that the organisation delivers its charitable objectives; is in good financial shape and complies with charity law.
Burgh House welcomes candidates with commitment to arts, heritage, the local community, and good governance. The Chair will have Charity governance experience, the public profile to advocate for the House, and a strong network from which to fundraise and utilise generally as appropriate. We particularly welcome Trustee candidates with marketing and PR, historic building management, and digital experience.
