Discovering 100 years progress in including people who have both sight and hearing loss.

What will you be doing?

2028 is our Centenary. We want to use the year to focus on the progress that has been made over the last hundred years on better inclusion of people with sight and hearing loss. What are the barriers that have been overcome and how was that achieved? How far have we come and what still needs to be done?

We  have archived papers back to our start. We are looking for a volunteer with relevant experience and skills to help delve into the records and so be able to tell the story of what's happened since 1928. The records are both printed and digital and are housed in offices above one of the charity's shops in Peterborough.

What are we looking for?

You will have experience as a researcher, librarian, archivist, information provider or similar.

What difference will you make?

You will provide essential information from our history that well help tell our story. We will use this in our Centenary to increase awareness and support.

Before you apply

Please provide a cover letter detailing why you are interested in this role and your relevant experience.
