We can change the world for girls but we need your help

What will you be doing?

As a small but rapidly growing not-for-profit (CIC), our exciting and rewarding work has had to cease due to the current Covid measures, and so at a critical time in our development we have temporarily lost our income.

As part of our small team you will work with us to address this challenge, using your campaign management experience to help us raise funds to scale up so that our work and the girls we work with can thrive.

Working primarily from home, your role will include: planning, creating and running a fund-raising campaign that will enable us to scale up and adapt to current conditions.

What are we looking for?

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • an interest and empathy with our mission and the needs of our beneficiaries
  • strong and effective Campaign Management experience
  • excellent organisational and communication skills
  • self motivation and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • resourcefulness, diplomacy and good attention to detail
  • proficiency in working with digital tools, including Office and Mailchimp
  • confidence to work independently, using your initiative
  • the ability to demonstrate these skills and experience

What difference will you make?

Our mission is to make the lives of all girls safer, kinder and better supported, by creating circles of girls, their mothers and our facilitators.  Your fundraising activities will help us thrive and make our long term growth sustainable at a critical time.

What's in it for the volunteer?

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in meaningful work that makes a real difference to young girls and their mothers as they navigate the challenges of adolescence in increasingly testing times.

You'll be helping hundreds of girls, (this will be thousands in a few years time): helping them to avoid mental health issues, negotiate the pitfalls of social media and helping them leave adolescence as strong as they went in.

We're a small group of women passionate about making growing up for girls better. We'd value your expertise in helping us survive these troubled times. You’ll be joining us to make a difference.

Before you apply

When applying please let us know what draws you to our organisation. We are also particularly interested to hear about your experience in running campaigns. And what you have learned to be the most important aspects when managing campaigns.
