We are a mission-driven start-up dedicated to promoting emotional wellbeing through nature-based family activities. Seeking a Business Strategist to develop and implement strategies that will further our impact and ensure long-term sustainability.

What will you be doing?

Our board is currently facing challenges in areas such as business acumen, marketing strategy, and driving programme enrolment. Key goals include:

  • Developing a robust marketing plan to increase awareness and sign-ups for our wellbeing walks
  • Enhancing our business operations and processes for greater efficiency and scalability
  • Identifying new revenue streams and funding sources to support programme expansion
  • Building strategic partnerships to extend our reach into new communities

Strategic Planning

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to define Wandering Emotions' strategic vision and goals
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities, partnerships, and funding sources
  • Formulate strategic recommendations to expand our programme offerings, reach new communities, and diversify revenue streams

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with corporations, community organisations, and government entities
  • Help to develop compelling proposals and presentations to secure sponsorships, grants, and other funding

The role will be to provide strategic guidance, leverage their expertise, and work closely with the board to address these challenges and achieve our growth objectives.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in business strategy, consulting, or non profit management roles
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful strategies that drive growth and impact
  • Passion for Wandering Emotions' mission and commitment to emotional wellbeing

What difference will you make?

You will play an instrumental role in steering Wandering Emotions towards achieving its mission of promoting emotional wellbeing through experiences in nature. Your strategic guidance, financial oversight, and governance will be vital in ensuring the long-term sustainability and growth of our organisation's impact on families and communities.
