 We are seeking a passionate and experienced Business Development Volunteer to help us expand our client base, secure partnerships, and identify new opportunities for growth. 

What will you be doing?

Key Responsibilities may include:

  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Help to identify and develop new business opportunities with clients aligned to IJP’s mission, such as corporate brands, public sector, NGOs, and mental health organisations.
  • Partnership Development: Help to establish strategic partnerships with charities, community groups, and mental health advocates to create collaborative, high-impact projects.
  • Revenue Growth: Assist in developing and implementing strategies to grow revenue across IJP’s services, including film production, digital content creation, and social enterprise initiatives.
  • Proposal Writing & Pitching: Advise and/or lead on the creation of proposals and presentations for potential clients, showcasing IJP’s storytelling and social impact capabilities.
  • Networking & Events: Represent IJP at industry events, networking opportunities, and conferences to increase brand visibility and forge valuable connections.
  • Grant & Other Funding Opportunities: Advise on alternative approaches to funding and supporting IJP’s social impact projects.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven Track Record: Senior experience in business development
  • Client Management Expertise: Strong skills in managing and building long-term client relationships.
  • Passion for Social Impact: Commitment to leveraging film production for social good, particularly in the areas of mental health and employability.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to identify and execute on growth opportunities.
  • Team Player: Strong collaboration skills, working across teams to achieve common goals.
  • Digital Proficiency: Experience using CRM systems and digital tools to manage and track business development activities
