A volunteer to play a pivotal role in fostering partnerships with key stakeholders in both the publiole c and private sectors. 

What will you be doing?

Company Description

The Moment of Truth Business Reality Show UK & Nigeria aims to support business education and entrepreneurship in Nigeria to reduce unemployment. The show features high-profile leaders and underrepresented CEOs/Founders committed to community problem-solving. Participants have the opportunity to pitch innovative ideas to judges, with a chance to win startup fund award and receive crowdfunding support for their start-up.

The Role

The primary objective will be to identify opportunities for collaboration and promote our entrepreneurial initiatives and outreach activities by engaging with local council education authorities, business accelerators, charities, SMEs, and corporate entities.

Responsibilities:

  • Fundraising: Research funding opportunities and develop a calendar of community fundraising activities.
  • Partnership development: Working directly with the CEO to identify new business opportunities and industry trends addressing startup and youth employment needs.
  • Pitching: Preparing and delivering presentations to potential clients and investors
  • Promote our business, marketing, and entrepreneurship programmes to support community development, upskilling, and workforce readiness initiatives.

What are we looking for?

  • Must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills to build rapport with stakeholders.
  • Be able to identify and pursue collaboration opportunities
  • Conduct email activities and use other platforms for prospecting.
  • Develop and send compelling proposals to potential clients.
  • Follow up persistently on leads to nurture relationships and advance prospects.
