We’re looking for a strategic and innovative Business Consultant to help shape the future of Connecting Stories by providing expert advice and actionable strategies to optimise operations, enhance sustainability, and drive growth.

What will you be doing?

We are seeking a Business Consultant to help shape the future of Connecting Stories CIC. In this volunteer role, you will provide strategic insights and actionable recommendations to optimise our operations, improve sustainability, and drive growth.

You’ll collaborate with our leadership team to identify opportunities, streamline processes, and develop strategies that align with our mission to empower women. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in business strategy, consulting, or operations who wants to apply their expertise to a meaningful cause.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Analysis: Evaluate current operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Growth Strategy: Develop strategies to expand our reach and partnerships, including collaborations with leading financial organisations.
  • Funding and Sustainability: Advise on sustainable business models, funding opportunities, and resource allocation.
  • Performance Optimisation: Create and implement frameworks to enhance organisational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align efforts and achieve strategic goals.

Experience:

  • Background in business consulting, strategy, operations, or organisational development.
  • Experience working with non-profits, social enterprises, or mission-driven organisations (preferred but not required).
  • Demonstrated success in evaluating business models, processes, or systems and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Experience in identifying and developing partnerships, sponsorships, or funding opportunities.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation techniques to assess the success of implemented strategies.
