Our Sea Cadet Unit provides training for many young people, delivered by adult volunteers. The upkeep and maintenance of our building is essential to ensure it is always a safe environment for our cadets, volunteers, parents and visitors.

As our Building facilities / H&S Co-ordinator, you will be an integral member of our volunteer team, ensuring our building is safe and ready to deliver the sea cadet experience to local young people.
As a Sea Cadet young people flourish, learn key life skills and achieve qualifications in a range of areas, all of which boosts their confidence as they prepare for the rest of their lives.
Sea Cadets understand the responsibilities people have outside volunteering. So, we offer a flexible approach, recognising that everyone has skills to offer and that volunteering needs to fit around peoples' busy lives - so if a desire to support local young people is there, please contact us and we will arrange for a unit visit.
You may be required to undertake mandatory induction training and DBS (paid for by the Sea Cadets).
