What will you be doing?

The Branch Team Leader will support the volunteers in all aspects of their role, ensuring they are happy and confident in carrying out their individual roles.

They will work closely with the Branch Development Manager to ensure the branch and volunteers are following Cats Protection policies, procedures and guidelines and that the team are observing charity best practice and complying with legal procedures.

The Branch Team Leader will act as the main point of contact between staff and volunteers.

The Branch Team Leader will be an ambassador for Cats Protection, ensuring the public are aware of the charities aims of rehoming and neutering of cats and educating the public in how best to care for cats.

They will oversee branch expenditure with the help of the Branch Treasurer to ensure long-term financial stability for the branch.

What are we looking for?

Communication skills. Experience of managing and leading. Budget planning. Empathy. Compliance. IT skills would be extremely useful but not essential.
