As a bookkeeper, you’ll help RAFFA operate smoothly, responsibly, and sustainably, ensuring that every penny spent brings the greatest benefit to the cause.

What will you be doing?

RAFFA Development Agency maintains meticulous financial records, which are essential for transparency and accountability.

RAFFA’s accurate records allow us to track donations, expenses, and budgets effectively.

As a bookkeeper, you will comply with tax laws, reporting standards, and grant conditions, protecting RAFFA in its financial entity.

You will manage budgets and monitor cash flow as well as allocate resources efficiently and avoid overspending. This will help us maximise our impact with the funds available.

RAFFA believes in building donor confidence, so we ensure that our financial practices are transparent.  This instils trust in donors, grant providers, and other stakeholders.

What are we looking for?

Ability to maintain accurate financial records and spot any discrepancies that may arise.

Ability to manage financial documents efficiently.

Basic grasp of numbers and basic mathematics to ensure accurate calculations and record-keeping.

Always maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information responsibly.

Ability to address financial inconsistencies or errors logically.

Ensuring timely updates of records and meeting reporting deadlines for Annual General Meetings.

Understanding the basics of accounting and bookkeeping.

What difference will you make?

As a bookkeeper you will provide crucial financial data that will inform decision-making and long-term strategy. This will also help us set realistic goals and measure progress effectively.  Accurate records and financial reports enables RAFFA  to apply for funding opportunities.
