Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

To apply for this role, and any other on our platform, you need to be based in the UK, have at least three years of experience using the skills you wish to volunteer in a professional capacity or have lived experience (for trustee roles). Read more about our criteria.

Would you like to make a strategic difference to a service which specialises in providing support and information to local children and adults who've been subjected to sexual violence?

What will you be doing?

RCG are welcoming applications from future board members to oversee and influence our new, post-covid strategy - which directly impacts how we work with the community.

We are seeking Women aged 21 and over, from diverse backgrounds with wide ranging experience and an interest in strategic level work. Volunteering as a Trustee is an interesting and rewarding way to learn about Gender Based Violence and make a tangible difference to it in your local community. Being a Board member is a learn-as-you-go process. You don't need to be an expert. You'll receive training from Rape Crisis Scotland and we'll support you with a local induction too.

What is the commitment?

The time commitment is approximately 1-3 meetings per quarter, usually held on a weekday evening either via Zoom or at our centre on Dee Street, Aberdeen. Our meetings are uplifting, interesting, informal and productive. Travel expenses paid.
