Travel limit? No limit to volunteers location as remote working is key.

Minimum 7 hours a week.

Are you a good writer and can deliver work on tight deadlines? Are you able to independently research online? Are you available to support a charity doing amazing work in international education development? We need a bid writer to join us. 

What will you be doing?

  • Increase funds by researching and targeting donors and charitable funding trusts whose criteria match Tusome Africa's aims and activities
  • Manage and update databases to record donor contact and preference information
  • Make risk analyses and balancing time-cost ratios to focus effort on the fundraising activities that are most appropriate and will have the highest chance of success.
  • Actually writing the application bids.

What are we looking for?

A qualification or experience in marketing, media or charity fundraising will be helpful. We are looking for an individual with the right aptitude and capacity to learn quickly.

What difference will you make?

We are a young start up charity with a big ambition to eliminate illiteracy! It is unacceptable that there are children in the world who will never be able to read anything! We believe that this is unacceptable and that we can do something about it! We need to raise funds to fund this ambition and you will be critical in enabling us to reach our financial target. We need a person with self drive and great initiative. One who is able to focus on the vision and deliver work.
