Azure/Entra Whiz Needed! Seamlessly Migrate Our Website to the Cloud & Boost Security.

What will you be doing?

The Azure/Entra Migration Specialist will play a key role in migrating our website, built on the Drupal CMS, from AWS Lightsail to Azure. You will collaborate with our Head of Technical to research, plan, execute, and review the migration process, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance within cost limitations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting a thorough assessment of the existing AWS Lightsail infrastructure and Drupal CMS setup
  • Developing a detailed migration plan, leveraging Azure resources and best practices
  • Executing the migration, ensuring data integrity and system functionality
  • Setting up and configuring Azure Active Directory (Entra) for enhanced security and Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities across various applications and services
  • Utilising extensive GitHub experience to establish seamless connections between the new Azure systems and existing infrastructure
  • Providing technical guidance and support throughout the migration process
  • Documenting the migration process and providing knowledge transfer to the technical team

What are we looking for?

  • Azure Expertise: Proven experience with Azure cloud platform, including Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Active Directory (Entra)
  • Entra Proficiency: Deep understanding of Azure Active Directory (Entra) and its capabilities for identity and access management, including SSO configuration
  • Migration Experience: Demonstrated success in migrating websites or applications to Azure, preferably from AWS Lightsail
  • Drupal CMS Knowledge: Familiarity with Drupal CMS and its integration with Azure
  • GitHub Mastery: Extensive experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges during migration
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with the technical team and stakeholders
  • Passion for Sharing Skills: A desire to contribute your expertise to a meaningful cause and make a positive impact
