Visitors from Fifth Day

Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

To apply for this role, and any other on our platform, you need to be based in the UK, have at least three years of experience using the skills you wish to volunteer in a professional capacity or have lived experience (for trustee roles). Read more about our criteria.

Each RSPCA branch is run by a committee of volunteer trustees who are responsible for managing the affairs of the branch, including our retail outlets, fostering, fundraising, home visiting and charity shop work.

What will you be doing?

How can you make a difference in 2024?

Use your skills learned in a professional environment to benefit your local community by becoming a trustee for MK & North Bucks RSPCA.

As a trustee of the MK & North Bucks branch, you will have the chance to influence how we care for the animals in our care and prevent cruelty to animals.

It's a great way to meet like minded people who share your enthusiasm for animal welfare. You will have the opportunity to gain new skills and develop existing ones, whilst making a real difference to the lives of animals.

We have a packed agenda for 2024 and need people willing to volunteer up to 20 hours a month in the following areas:

  • HR & Talent Acquisition
  • Fundraising & Sponsorship
  • Volunteer Management

What are we looking for?

We are looking for people with skills in the following areas:

  • HR & Talent Acquisition
  • Fundraising & Sponsorship
  • Volunteer Management

You will have experience in:

  • Project Management - Essential
  • Charity fundraising, either directly for a charity or part of a corporate team - Essential
  • If applying for HR trustee, experience in HR is essential and Talent acquisition a nice to have

You should be able to influence others and take experience from previous management positions to utilise your coaching and mentoring skills for more junior trustees.

What difference will you make?

We have ambitious plans for growth in 2024, including new retail outlets and anew education centre for the public to help tackle the alarming number of unwanted animals in the area.

We have gaps in our volunteering network and need people from a professional background who can create project plans, inspire people and get stuck into getting things done without relying on big teams of other people - you are it!

Come and join a team of individuals, most who have joined the team of trustees in the last 12 months and help us support more animals and individuals in need.
