Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

We are looking for a capable and committed Volunteer Administrator to support our board of trustees with essential administrative tasks. Helping us to improve the lives of people living with ciliopathies.

What will you be doing?

Key Responsibilities

  • Board Governance Support
    • Schedule trustee board meetings (quarterly or as needed)
    • Manage meeting invites, calendar syncs, agendas, and minute-taking.
    • Track follow-up actions and ensure deadlines are noted.
  • Finance Administration
    • Support preparation of financial documents for trustee review
    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for expense claims and invoicing.
  • Digital Engagement Monitoring
    • Monitor website traffic and engagement via basic analytics.
    • Forward any technical issues or content requests to the appropriate team member or service provider.
  • General Administration
    • Maintain document filing and version control on the charity’s shared drive.
    • Support ad hoc admin needs from trustees that help reduce their operational burden.

What are we looking for?

Essential:

  • Strong organisational skills with proven administrative experience
  • Comfortable working remotely
  • Ability to use standard products e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, Zoom, Xero accounting etc.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Understanding of GDPR and data protection principles
  • Experience working in charitable or nonprofit sector

What difference will you make?

We are a volunteer managed Charity with some big plans.  In order to do this we need to free up our trustees time from administration for delivery of some of our new projects. Volunteering for us will help us acheive our goals of improving the lives of people living with ciliopathies.
