What will you be doing?

Our Administration Officer is needed to provide effective and efficient operation and administration for CPRE London. The role covers managing a variety or organisational tasks and administrative support to facilitate the work of staff, volunteers and members.

CPRE London is a charity that fights to protect London’s green spaces. By volunteering with us you’ll be helping to find positive solutions for the issues facing the countryside and the environment. You’ll make a real difference and be a central part of a friendly and passionate charity.

Your responsibilities

Working along side the existing team, the role may include: 

Helping with a variety of admin tasks utilising the benefits of our IT systems 

Checking and responding to emails 

Making and answering phone calls 

Talking to visitors, members, staff and volunteers.

We'll support you in your role by providing an induction and relevant training and as part of our friendly team of staff and volunteers, based in our office and across the county, you’ll be invited to regular social gatherings during the year.

  • Self starter able to work independently
  • Adept at prioritisation
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal
  • Competent IT skills familiar with the Office suite of tools
  • Office management or PA experience would be an advantage

What difference will you make?

Facilitating the efficient administration of the London team's work, you'll enable us to use maximise how we deploy employee and volunteer time usefully, for the effective promotion of our environmental aims.
