Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

To apply for this role, and any other on our platform, you need to be based in the UK, have at least three years of experience using the skills you wish to volunteer in a professional capacity or have lived experience (for trustee roles). Read more about our criteria.

DEA is a growing community orientated organisation that for the past 11 years has impacted the lives of young people through music and art. We need volunteers to help us as we expand.

What will you be doing?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, community driven volunteer to help our organisation continue to grow. At present the company is on the point of registering as a Charity with a managing director Alda Dizdari, a concert violinist and experienced educator who needs the volunteer to work under her supervision. We have a core of highly skilled professional freelance music tutors and overseen by two trustees. We currently have between 60-70 students and operate a scholarship scheme.

What are we looking for?

We need help with book keeping/finance, marketing, fund raising and general administration. The skills required can be flexible and include also the opportunity to learn new skills on the job

What difference will you make?

You will enable the company to expand considerably and help with the smooth operational day to day running activities. You will help children to improve their life and overcome limitations and dissabilities through music and art. You will experience first hand the impact your work has on the lives of young people, their mental health and confidence, for example, through our termly public performance schemes. You will be able to make a difference that benefits the whole community. We have over 20 nationalities aging from 5-18 years old and are proudly inclusive with a rich cultural and ethnic background. Your work will give you plenty of opportunity to interact with people and bring a positive impact in their lives as well as expand your own experience in a range of different spheres.
